हे माधव! केवल आपकी सहायता से ही हम निर्भय होकर धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्र से अपना भाग प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। वह अपनी माया और अपने सलाहकारों के कारण ढीठ है।

O destroyer of enemies! Just as you protect the Vṛṣṇi's from all hardships, you should also protect the Pāṇḍava-s. Save us from this great danger."
हे शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले! जिस प्रकार आप वृष्णियों की सभी कष्टों से रक्षा करते हैं, उसी प्रकार आपको पांडवों की भी रक्षा करनी चाहिए। हमें इस बड़े खतरे से बचाइये।”

Bhagavan replied: "O mighty-armed one! I am present. Tell me what you wish to say. O descendant of the Bhārata lineage! I will do everything that you ask for."
भगवान ने उत्तर दिया: "हे महाबाहु! मैं उपस्थित हूं। मुझे बताओ कि तुम क्या कहना चाहते हो। हे भरत वंश के वंशज! मैं वह सब कुछ करूंगा जो तुम मांगोगे।"

युधिष्ठिर ने कहा: "आपने सुना है कि धृतराष्ट्र और उनके पुत्र क्या करना चाहते हैं। हे कृष्ण! संजय ने मुझसे क्या कहा,
is exactly what Dhṛtarāṣṭra is thinking. His soul stands revealed. A messenger says what he is told to speak. If he speaks otherwise, he should be killed.
धृतराष्ट्र बिल्कुल यही सोच रहे हैं। उसकी आत्मा प्रकट हो गई है। एक दूत वही कहता है जो उसे बोलने के लिए कहा जाता है। अगर वह अन्यथा बोलता है तो उसे मार दिया जाना चाहिए।'
O lord! We did that under the assumption that Dhṛtarāṣṭra would abide by the agreement with us. O Kṛṣṇā! The brāhmana-s who are with us know that we have not broken the covenant.
हे भगवान! हमने यह इस धारणा के तहत किया कि धृतराष्ट्र हमारे साथ समझौते का पालन करेंगे। हे कृष्ण! जो ब्राह्मण हमारे साथ हैं वे जानते हैं कि हमने वाचा नहीं तोड़ी है।

पश्यन्वा पुत्रगृद्धित्वान्मन्दस्यान्वेति शासनम्
The aged King Dhṛtarāṣṭra cannot see his own dharma. Or even if he sees it, out of affection, he follows the instructions of his evil son.
वृद्ध राजा धृतराष्ट्र अपना धर्म नहीं देख सकते। अथवा यदि वह देखता भी है तो स्नेहवश अपने दुष्ट पुत्र के निर्देशों का पालन करता है।
When a man is born and brought up in a noble lineage, but covets the possessions of others, avarice destroys his wisdom. When wisdom is destroyed, so is modesty.
जब कोई व्यक्ति कुलीन वंश में पैदा होता है और बड़ा होता है, लेकिन दूसरों की संपत्ति का लालच करता है, तो लालच उसकी बुद्धि को नष्ट कर देता है। जब बुद्धि नष्ट हो जाती है तो विनय भी नष्ट हो जाता है।
When modesty is destroyed, dharma is constrained. When dharma is destroyed, prosperity is destroyed. When prosperity is destroyed, a man is killed. Lack of prosperity is like death to a man.
जब शील नष्ट हो जाता है तो धर्म बाधित हो जाता है। जब धर्म नष्ट हो जाता है तो समृद्धि नष्ट हो जाती है। जब समृद्धि नष्ट हो जाती है तो मनुष्य मारा जाता है। समृद्धि का अभाव मनुष्य के लिए मृत्यु के समान है।

अपुष्पादफलाद्वृक्षाद्यथा तात पतत्रिणः
O son! Relatives, well-wishers and brāhmana-s turn away from one who has no riches, like birds fly away from a tree that has no blossoms or fruit.
हे वत्स रिश्तेदार, शुभचिंतक और ब्राह्मण उस व्यक्ति से दूर हो जाते हैं जिसके पास धन नहीं है, जैसे पक्षी उस पेड़ से दूर उड़ जाते हैं जिसमें फूल या फल नहीं होते हैं।
O son! In my view, this is like death. When a man has fallen and his relatives turn away from him, it is like the spirit and breath of life leaving one who is dead.
हे वत्स मेरी दृष्टि में यह मृत्यु के समान है। जब कोई मनुष्य गिर जाता है, और उसके कुटुम्बी उससे दूर हो जाते हैं, तो यह उस मरे हुए की आत्मा और जीवन की सांस के समान है।

Śambara has said that there is nothing worse for a man than a situation where he cannot see how food can be obtained, today or tomorrow.
शम्बारा ने कहा है कि मनुष्य के लिए उस स्थिति से बदतर कुछ भी नहीं है जहां वह यह नहीं देख सकता कि भोजन कैसे प्राप्त किया जा सकता है, आज या कल।
Riches are said to constitute supreme dharma. Everything is established in prosperity. The rich live in this world. Men who do not possess riches are dead.
कहा जाता है कि धन ही सर्वोच्च धर्म है। सब कुछ समृद्धि में स्थापित है. इस दुनिया में अमीर लोग रहते हैं. जिन पुरुषों के पास धन नहीं है वे मृत हैं।

ये धनादपकर्षन्ति नरं स्वबलमाश्रिताः
ते धर्ममर्थं कामं च प्रमथ्नन्ति नरं च तम्
If one resorts to one's strength and robs a man of his riches, along with him, one destroys his dharma, artha and kāmā too.
यदि कोई अपनी ताकत का सहारा लेता है और किसी व्यक्ति से उसका धन लूटता है, तो वह उसके साथ-साथ उसके धर्म, अर्थ और काम को भी नष्ट कर देता है।
Having reached that state, some men prefer death. Others resort to villages, still others resort to forests. Some wander around, seeking to destroy themselves.
उस अवस्था में पहुँचकर कुछ मनुष्य मृत्यु को पसन्द करते हैं। अन्य लोग गाँवों का सहारा लेते हैं, फिर भी अन्य लोग जंगलों का सहारा लेते हैं। कुछ लोग स्वयं को नष्ट करने की फिराक में इधर-उधर भटकते रहते हैं।
For a man, the destruction of prosperity is a worse calamity than death. Prosperity is the source of dharma and kāmā.
मनुष्य के लिए समृद्धि का नष्ट होना मृत्यु से भी भयंकर विपत्ति है। समृद्धि धर्म और काम का स्रोत है।

Death is the eternal dharma of the world. It is the end of all beings and there is no one who is an exception.
मृत्यु संसार का शाश्वत धर्म है। यह सभी प्राणियों का अंत है और कोई भी इसका अपवाद नहीं है।

हे कृष्ण! एक व्यक्ति जो स्वाभाविक रूप से गरीब है, उसे उतना कष्ट नहीं होता जितना उस व्यक्ति को होता है जिसके पास भाग्य और समृद्धि है और उसने सुख का आनंद लिया है, जो बाद में हीन अवस्था में पहुंच गया है।

When one faces great hardships because of one's own crimes, one blames Indra and the other gods, but never one's own self.
जब किसी को अपने अपराधों के कारण बड़ी कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ता है, तो वह इंद्र और अन्य देवताओं को दोषी ठहराता है, लेकिन स्वयं को कभी नहीं।

Familiarity with all the sacred texts cannot reduce that suffering. Sometimes, he is angry with his servants. Sometimes, he censures his well-wishers.
सभी पवित्र ग्रंथों से परिचित होना उस पीड़ा को कम नहीं कर सकता। कभी-कभी वह अपने नौकरों पर क्रोधित होता है। कभी-कभी वह अपने शुभचिंतकों की निंदा भी करते हैं।

तं तदा मन्युरेवैति स भूयः संप्रमुह्यति
स मोहवशमापन्नः क्रूरं कर्म निषेवते
He is always subject to anger and loses his senses. Having come under the control of confusion, he resorts to cruel deeds.
वह सदैव क्रोध में रहता है और अपनी सुध-बुध खो बैठता है। भ्रम के वश में आकर वह क्रूर कर्मों पर उतर आता है।
From these evil deeds, mixed births result. Mixed births are the way to hell and are the final outcome of evildoers.
इन बुरे कर्मों से मिश्रित योनियों का फल मिलता है। मिश्रित योनियाँ नरक का मार्ग हैं और दुष्टों का अंतिम परिणाम हैं।

न चेत्प्रबुध्यते कृष्ण नरकायैव गच्छति
तस्य प्रबोधः प्रज्ञैव प्रज्ञाचक्षुर्न रिष्यति
O Kṛṣṇā! If he does not wake up on time, he goes to hell. Wisdom alone is the awakening. The eye of wisdom can save him.
हे कृष्ण! यदि वह समय पर नहीं जागता तो नरक में जाता है। बुद्धि ही जागृति है। ज्ञान की आँख उसे बचा सकती है।

प्रज्ञालाभे हि पुरुषः शास्त्राण्येवान्ववेक्षते
शास्त्रनित्यः पुनर्धर्मं तस्य ह्रीरङ्गमुत्तमम्
When a man regains his wisdom, he looks towards the sacred texts. When he is established in the sacred texts, he regains dharma and modesty becomes his best limb.
जब मनुष्य को ज्ञान प्राप्त होता है तो वह पवित्र ग्रंथों की ओर देखता है। जब वह पवित्र ग्रंथों में स्थापित हो जाता है, तो उसे धर्म पुनः प्राप्त हो जाता है और विनय उसका सर्वोत्तम अंग बन जाता है।
A modest man avoids evil and his prosperity increases. When he obtains prosperity, he truly becomes a man.
विनम्र व्यक्ति बुराई से दूर रहता है और उसकी समृद्धि बढ़ती है। जब उसे समृद्धि प्राप्त होती है, तो वह सचमुच मनुष्य बन जाता है।

धर्मनित्यः प्रशान्तात्मा कार्ययोगवहः सदा
नाधर्मे कुरुते बुद्धिं न च पापेषु वर्तते
He is always established in dharma and he is calm in his soul. He is always engaged in deeds and does not follow adharma. His intelligence does not turn towards evil.
वह सदैव धर्म में स्थित रहता है और उसकी आत्मा शांत रहती है। वह सदैव कर्म में लगा रहता है और अधर्म का पालन नहीं करता। उसकी बुद्धि बुराई की ओर नहीं जाती।

अह्रीको वा विमूढो वा नैव स्त्री न पुनः पुमान्
नास्याधिकारो धर्मेऽस्ति यथा शूद्रस्तथैव सः
One who is without modesty and without senses, is neither a woman, nor a man. According to dharma, he has no rights and is just like a śūdra.
जो शीलहीन और इन्द्रियहीन है, वह न स्त्री है, न पुरुष है। धर्म के अनुसार, उसके पास कोई अधिकार नहीं है और वह शूद्र के समान है।

ह्रीमानवति देवांश्च पितॄनात्मानमेव च
तेनामृतत्वं व्रजति सा काष्ठा पुण्यकर्मणाम्
A man who is modest satisfies the gods, the ancestors and his own self. He becomes immortal because of this. This is the ultimate objective for those who perform pure deeds.
जो मनुष्य विनम्र होता है वह देवताओं, पितरों और स्वयं को तृप्त करता है। इससे वह अमर हो जाता है। शुद्ध कर्म करने वालों का यही परम उद्देश्य है।

तदिदं मयि ते दृष्टं प्रत्यक्षं मधुसूदन
यथा राज्यात्परिभ्रष्टो वसामि वसतीरिमाः
O Madhusūdana! You have seen all this directly in me. You have seen how I have spent those nights, deprived of the kingdom.
हे मधुसूदन! यह सब तुमने मुझमें प्रत्यक्ष देखा है। आपने देखा कि राज्य से वंचित होकर मैंने वे रातें किस प्रकार बितायीं।

ते वयं न श्रियं हातुमलं न्यायेन केनचित्
अत्र नो यतमानानां वधश्चेदपि साधु तत्
There is no way for us to give up that prosperity. It would be better for us to die, while striving towards that.
हमारे पास उस समृद्धि को छोड़ने का कोई रास्ता नहीं है। उस दिशा में प्रयास करते हुए मर जाना ही हमारे लिए बेहतर होगा।'

तत्र नः प्रथमः कल्पो यद्वयं ते च माधव
प्रशान्ताः समभूताश्च श्रियं तामश्नुवीमहि
O Mādhava! Our first intention is that we should enjoy that common prosperity, in peace with each other and treating each other equally.
हे माधव! हमारा पहला इरादा यह है कि हम एक-दूसरे के साथ शांति से और एक-दूसरे के साथ समान व्यवहार करके उस साझा समृद्धि का आनंद लें।
Any other form of conduct is not recommended for us. A śūdra performs servitude. A vaiśya lives by selling goods. Killing is the means of livelihood for us, while begging is the conduct for brāhmana-s.
किसी अन्य प्रकार का आचरण हमारे लिए अनुशंसित नहीं है। एक शूद्र दासता करता है. एक वैश्य सामान बेचकर जीवन यापन करता है। हत्या हमारे लिए आजीविका का साधन है, जबकि भिक्षा माँगना ब्राह्मणों के लिए आचरण है।
A kṣatriya kills another kṣatriya. A fish lives on another fish. A dog kills another dog. O Dāśārha! Behold how each follows the decreed dharma.
एक क्षत्रिय दूसरे क्षत्रिय को मारता है। एक मछली दूसरी मछली पर जीवित रहती है। एक कुत्ता दूसरे कुत्ते को मार डालता है. हे दशार्ह! देखो, प्रत्येक व्यक्ति किस प्रकार निर्धारित धर्म का पालन करता है।
O Kṛṣṇā! Dissension is always present in a fight. Lives are lost in a battle. In spite of strength and adherence to policy, there can be victory or defeat in a battle.
हे कृष्ण! झगड़े में मतभेद हमेशा मौजूद रहता है। लड़ाई में जान चली जाती है. ताकत और नीति के पालन के बावजूद भी युद्ध में जीत या हार हो सकती है।
Life and death are not determined by a being. O supreme among the Yadu lineage! Until the right time has come, one does not find happiness or unhappiness.
जीवन और मृत्यु किसी प्राणी द्वारा निर्धारित नहीं होते हैं। हे यदुवंशियों में श्रेष्ठ! जब तक सही समय नहीं आता तब तक न तो सुख मिलता है और न ही दुःख।
One man may kill many. Many may unite to kill a single man. A coward may kill a brave one. An infamous one may kill one who is famous.
एक आदमी कई लोगों की हत्या कर सकता है. एक ही आदमी को मारने के लिए कई लोग एकजुट हो सकते हैं. एक कायर किसी बहादुर को मार सकता है। एक कुख्यात व्यक्ति उस व्यक्ति को मार सकता है जो प्रसिद्ध है।
Victory may go to either side. Either side may confront defeat. This is also true of destruction. If one tries to flee, there will be death and destruction.
जीत किसी भी पक्ष को मिल सकती है. किसी भी पक्ष को हार का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। यह विनाश का भी सच है. यदि कोई भागने की कोशिश करेगा तो मृत्यु और विनाश होगा।

सर्वथा वृजिनं युद्धं को घ्नन्न प्रतिहन्यते
हतस्य च हृषीकेश समौ जयपराजयौ
But in all cases, a war should be avoided. Where is the killer who is not killed in return? O Hṛṣīkeśa! For one who has been killed, victory and defeat are equal.
लेकिन सभी मामलों में युद्ध से बचना चाहिए। वह हत्यारा कहां है जो बदले में मारा नहीं जाता? हे हृषीकेश! जो मारा गया उसके लिए जीत और हार बराबर है.

पराजयश्च मरणान्मन्ये नैव विशिष्यते
यस्य स्याद्विजयः कृष्ण तस्याप्यपचयो ध्रुवम्
I do not think that defeat is different from death. O Kṛṣṇā! It is certain that one who is victorious also suffers from a loss.
मुझे नहीं लगता कि हार मौत से अलग है. हे कृष्ण! यह तो तय है कि जो जीतता है उसकी हार भी होती है।
At the end, a beloved one will be killed by someone from the other side. O Kṛṣṇā! When he is rendered weak because he can no longer see his sons or brothers, he will be completely overwhelmed by a disdain for life.
अंत में, किसी प्रियजन को दूसरे पक्ष के किसी व्यक्ति द्वारा मार दिया जाएगा। हे कृष्ण! जब वह कमज़ोर हो जाता है क्योंकि वह अब अपने बेटों या भाइयों को नहीं देख पाता है, तो वह जीवन के प्रति तिरस्कार से पूरी तरह अभिभूत हो जाएगा।

ये ह्येव वीरा ह्रीमन्त आर्याः करुणवेदिनः
त एव युद्धे हन्यन्ते यवीयान्मुच्यते जनः
Those who are modest, brave, āryā-s and compassionate are killed in battle. But an inferior one may escape.
जो विनम्र, शूरवीर, आर्य-पुरुष और दयालु हैं वे युद्ध में मारे जाते हैं। लेकिन एक घटिया व्यक्ति बच सकता है।
But victory engenders enmity, because those who are defeated are unhappy. A man who can cast aside victory and defeat is both happy and peaceful.
लेकिन जीत दुश्मनी पैदा करती है, क्योंकि जो हार जाते हैं वे दुखी होते हैं। जो व्यक्ति जीत और हार को एक तरफ रख देता है वह सुखी और शांतिपूर्ण दोनों होता है।
There is no exception to this and peace will always remain unattainable. This is the continual taint in those who seek to establish their own superiority.
इसका कोई अपवाद नहीं है और शांति सदैव अप्राप्य रहेगी। यह उन लोगों के लिए निरंतर कलंक है जो अपनी श्रेष्ठता स्थापित करना चाहते हैं।

तस्य त्यागेन वा शान्तिर्निवृत्त्या मनसोऽपि वा
Manliness is a strong weakness in the heart. One can find peace only by completely casting it aside from one's mind.
मर्दानगी दिल की एक मजबूत कमजोरी है. इसे अपने मन से पूरी तरह हटाकर ही शांति मिल सकती है।

अथ वा मूलघातेन द्विषतां मधुसूदन
फलनिर्वृत्तिरिद्धा स्यात्तन्नृशंसतरं भवेत्
O Madhusūdana! By uprooting the enemy by the roots, we may be able to accomplish our objective. But that will be crueller still.
हे मधुसूदन! दुश्मन को जड़ से उखाड़ कर हम अपने मकसद में कामयाब हो सकते हैं. लेकिन वह अभी भी क्रूर होगा.

या तु त्यागेन शान्तिः स्यात्तदृते वध एव सः
संशयाच्च समुच्छेदाद्द्विषतामात्मनस्तथा
We can gain peace by giving up our claim, but that will be like death. There is no doubt that this leaves the prospect of destruction, for our enemies and our own side.
हम अपना दावा छोड़कर शांति पा सकते हैं, लेकिन वह मृत्यु के समान होगी। इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं है कि इससे हमारे दुश्मनों और हमारे अपने पक्ष के लिए विनाश की संभावना बनी रहती है।

न च त्यक्तुं तदिच्छामो न चेच्छामः कुलक्षयम्
अत्र या प्रणिपातेन शान्तिः सैव गरीयसी
We do not wish to give that up. Nor do we desire a destruction of the lineage. Peace through submission is desirable.
हम उसे छोड़ना नहीं चाहते. न ही हम वंश का नाश चाहते हैं। समर्पण के माध्यम से शांति वांछनीय है.
There are those who are striving in a desire to avoid the war. If those attempts at pacification fail, a war is unavoidable and is not a sign of weakness.
कुछ लोग ऐसे भी हैं जो युद्ध से बचने की चाहत में प्रयास कर रहे हैं। यदि शांति के वे प्रयास विफल हो जाते हैं, तो युद्ध अपरिहार्य है और यह कमजोरी का संकेत नहीं है।
There is a wagging of tails first. Then there is a bark. Then there is a bark in return. After that, there is a retreat and the display of teeth. Then there is loud barking and the quarrel.
सबसे पहले पूँछ हिलाना होता है। तभी एक छाल आती है. फिर बदले में भौंकना आता है. उसके बाद एक रिट्रीट और दांतों का प्रदर्शन होता है। फिर जोर-जोर से भौंकना और झगड़ा होने लगता है.
O Kṛṣṇā! The stronger one wins and eats the other one's flesh. That is the case with men too and there is no difference.
हे कृष्ण! जो ताकतवर होता है वह जीतता है और दूसरे का मांस खाता है। पुरुषों का भी यही हाल है और कोई फर्क नहीं है.

सर्वथा त्वेतदुचितं दुर्बलेषु बलीयसाम्
अनादरो विरोधश्च प्रणिपाती हि दुर्बलः
The stronger always acts in the same way with the weak. There is disregard and aggression and the weak one surrenders to the strong.

It is always appropriate that a father, a king and an aged one should be revered. O Janārdana! That is the reason Dhṛtarāṣṭra is worthy of our honour and worship.
पिता, राजा और वृद्ध का आदर करना सर्वदा उचित है। हे जनार्दन! यही कारण है कि धृतराष्ट्र हमारे सम्मान और पूजा के योग्य हैं।

O Mādhava! But Dhṛtarāṣṭra's affection towards his son is strong. As long as he is under his son's control, he will laugh at our submission.
हे माधव! लेकिन धृतराष्ट्र का अपने पुत्र के प्रति स्नेह प्रबल है। जब तक वह अपने बेटे के नियंत्रण में है, वह हमारी अधीनता पर हँसता रहेगा।

O Kṛṣṇā! Now that the time has come, what do you think should be done next? O Mādhava! How can we avoid the diminishing of artha and dharma?
हे कृष्ण! अब जब समय आ गया है तो आपको क्या लगता है कि आगे क्या किया जाना चाहिए? हे माधव! हम अर्थ और धर्म के ह्रास से कैसे बच सकते हैं?
O Madhusūdana! O supreme among men! In this difficult situation, you are the most appropriate person for us to consult.
हे मधुसूदन! हे मनुष्यों में श्रेष्ठ! इस कठिन परिस्थिति में, आप हमारे लिए परामर्श के लिए सबसे उपयुक्त व्यक्ति हैं।

You are our friend. You wish us well. You know the consequences of all deeds. O Kṛṣṇā! You are our well-wisher and you know the answer to everything."

Vaiśampāyana said: Thus addressed, Janārdana replied to Dharmarāja. "For the welfare of both the sides, I will myself go to the assembly of the Kuru-s.

हे राजा! यदि मैं आपके हितों को त्यागे बिना शांति प्राप्त करने में सफल हो गया, तो मुझे महान पुण्य प्राप्त होंगे और कार्य के महान परिणाम होंगे।

I will free the masses of Kuru-s and Sṛñjaya-s from the noose of death. I will also free the Pāṇḍava-s, the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra and the entire earth."
मैं कुरु-सृंजय-समुदाय को मृत्यु के पाश से मुक्त कर दूंगा। मैं धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्र पांडवों और पूरी पृथ्वी को भी मुक्त कर दूंगा।"

न ममैतन्मतं कृष्ण यत्त्वं यायाः कुरून्प्रति
सुयोधनः सूक्तमपि न करिष्यति ते वचः
Yudhiṣṭhira said: "O Kṛṣṇā! It is not my view that you should go to the Kuru-s. However well you articulate your words, Suyodhana will not listen to them.
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा: "हे कृष्ण! यह मेरा विचार नहीं है कि आपको कुरु-स के पास जाना चाहिए। आप कितनी भी अच्छी तरह से अपने शब्दों को व्यक्त करें, सुयोधन उनकी बात नहीं सुनेगा।

समेतं पार्थिवं क्षत्रं सुयोधनवशानुगम्
तेषां मध्यावतरणं तव कृष्ण न रोचये
All the assembled kṣatriya kings follow Suyodhana. O Kṛṣṇā! It does not appeal to me that you should arrive in their midst.
सभी एकत्रित क्षत्रिय राजा सुयोधन का अनुसरण करते हैं। हे कृष्ण! मुझे अच्छा नहीं लगता कि आप उनके बीच पहुंचें.

न हि नः प्रीणयेद्द्रव्यं न देवत्वं कुतः सुखम्
न च सर्वामरैश्वर्यं तव रोधेन माधव
O Mādhava! If hatred is exhibited towards you, we will not obtain any pleasure from gaining objects, or happiness from attaining divinity, or the prosperity of all the immortals."
हे माधव! यदि आपके प्रति घृणा प्रदर्शित की जाती है, तो हमें वस्तुओं को प्राप्त करने से कोई खुशी नहीं मिलेगी, या देवत्व प्राप्त करने से खुशी नहीं मिलेगी, या सभी अमरों की समृद्धि नहीं मिलेगी।

भगवानुवाच
जानाम्येतां महाराज धार्तराष्ट्रस्य पापताम्
अवाच्यास्तु भविष्यामः सर्वलोके महीक्षिताम्
Bhagavan replied: "O great king! I know the wicked nature of Dhṛtarāṣṭra's son. But through this, we will not be blamed by all the kings of the world.
भगवान ने उत्तर दिया: "हे महान राजा! मैं धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्र की दुष्ट प्रकृति को जानता हूं। लेकिन इसके माध्यम से, हमें दुनिया के सभी राजाओं द्वारा दोषी नहीं ठहराया जाएगा।
Yudhiṣṭhira said: "O Kṛṣṇā! If it pleases you, then go in peace to the Kaurava-s. Perhaps there will be some gain from it. I will see you again when you return.
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा: "हे कृष्ण! यदि यह आपको अच्छा लगता है, तो शांति से कौरवों के पास जाएं। शायद इससे कुछ लाभ होगा। जब आप लौटेंगे तो मैं आपसे फिर मिलूंगा।"
