संजय उवाच अर्जुनो वासुदेवश्च धन्विनौ परमार्चितौ कामादन्यत्र संभूतौ सर्वाभावाय संमितौ

Sañjaya said: "Arjuna and Vāsudeva are supremely honoured archers. They have everything in them and have been born in this way because of their own wishes.

संजय ने कहा: "अर्जुन और वासुदेव परम सम्मानित धनुर्धर हैं। उनमें सब कुछ है और वे अपनी इच्छाओं के कारण इस तरह पैदा हुए हैं।"

द्यामन्तरं समास्थाय यथायुक्तं मनस्विनः चक्रं तद्वासुदेवस्य मायया वर्तते विभो

O lord! The intelligent Vāsudeva's cakra is hidden in the firmament and works through the powers of māyā.

हे भगवान! बुद्धिमान वासुदेव का चक्र आकाश में छिपा है और माया की शक्तियों के माध्यम से काम करता है।

सापह्नवं पाण्डवेषु पाण्डवानां सुसंमतम् सारासारबलं ज्ञात्वा तत्समासेन मे शृणु

As if in play, the immensely strong Janārdana Mādhava defeated Naraka, Śambara, Kaṃsa and the king of Cedi, who was terrible in form.

मानो खेल में, अत्यंत बलशाली जनार्दन माधव ने नरक, शंबर, कंस और सेडी के राजा को हरा दिया, जो भयानक रूप में थे।

पृथिवीं चान्तरिक्षं च द्यां चैव पुरुषोत्तमः मनसैव विशिष्टात्मा नयत्यात्मवशं वशी

Puruṣottama pervades the earth, the sky and heaven. He is supreme in his soul and everything is under his control.

पुरुषोत्तम पृथ्वी, आकाश और स्वर्ग में व्याप्त हैं। वह अपनी आत्मा में सर्वोच्च है और सब कुछ उसके नियंत्रण में है।

भूयो भूयो हि यद्राजन्पृच्छसे पाण्डवान्प्रति सारासारबलं ज्ञातुं तन्मे निगदतः शृणु

O king! You have repeatedly asked me about the Pāṇḍava-s, wishing to know about the strengths and weaknesses of their forces.

हे राजा! आपने बार-बार मुझसे पांडवों के बारे में पूछा है, उनकी सेनाओं की ताकत और कमजोरियों के बारे में जानना चाहा है।

एकतो वा जगत्कृत्स्नमेकतो वा जनार्दनः सारतो जगतः कृत्स्नादतिरिक्तो जनार्दनः

If you place the entire universe on one side and Janārdana on the other, Janārdana will exceed the essence of the entire universe.

यदि आप संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड को एक तरफ और जनार्दन को दूसरी तरफ रख दें, तो जनार्दन पूरे ब्रह्मांड के सार से आगे निकल जाएगा।

भस्म कुर्याज्जगदिदं मनसैव जनार्दनः न तु कृत्स्नं जगच्छक्तं भस्म कर्तुं जनार्दनम्

Through his mind, Janārdana can reduce the entire universe to ashes. But nothing in the universe can reduce Janārdana to ashes.

जनार्दन अपने मन से संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड को भस्म कर सकते हैं। लेकिन ब्रह्माण्ड में कोई भी वस्तु जनार्दन को भस्म नहीं कर सकती।

यतः सत्यं यतो धर्मो यतो ह्रीरार्जवं यतः ततो भवति गोविन्दो यतः कृष्णस्ततो जयः

Wherever there is truth, wherever there is dharma, wherever there is modesty, wherever there is uprightness, Govinda is present there. Wherever there is Kṛṣṇā, victory exists there.

जहाँ सत्य है, जहाँ धर्म है, जहाँ शील है, जहाँ सदाचार है, वहाँ गोविंद विद्यमान हैं। जहाँ भी कृष्ण हैं, वहाँ विजय मौजूद है।

पृथिवीं चान्तरिक्षं च दिवं च पुरुषोत्तमः विचेष्टयति भूतात्मा क्रीडन्निव जनार्दनः

As if in play, Puruṣottama Janārdana, the soul of all beings, guides the earth, the sky and heaven.

मानो खेल में, सभी प्राणियों की आत्मा, पुरुषोत्तम जनार्दन, पृथ्वी, आकाश और स्वर्ग का मार्गदर्शन करते हैं।

स कृत्वा पाण्डवान्सत्रं लोकं संमोहयन्निव अधर्मनिरतान्मूढान्दग्धुमिच्छति ते सुतान्

Using the Pāṇḍava-s as his instruments and keeping the world in delusion, he wishes to burn down your stupid sons, who are devoted to adharma.

वह पांडवों को अपने साधन के रूप में इस्तेमाल करके और दुनिया को भ्रम में रखकर आपके अधर्म के प्रति समर्पित मूर्ख पुत्रों को जला देना चाहता है।

कालचक्रं जगच्चक्रं युगचक्रं च केशवः आत्मयोगेन भगवान्परिवर्तयतेऽनिशम्

Through his own yoga, the illustrious Keśava makes the wheel of time, the wheel of the universe and the wheel of the yuga-s ceaselessly go round and round.

अपने योग के माध्यम से, शानदार केशव समय के चक्र, ब्रह्मांड के चक्र और युग के चक्र को लगातार चारों ओर घुमाते हैं।

कालस्य च हि मृत्योश्च जङ्गमस्थावरस्य च ईशते भगवानेकः सत्यमेतद्ब्रवीमि ते

I tell you truthfully that the illustrious lord alone governs time and death, the mobile and the immobile.

मैं तुमसे सच-सच कहता हूं कि केवल महान प्रभु ही समय और मृत्यु, स्थावर और स्थावर को नियंत्रित करते हैं।

ईशन्नपि महायोगी सर्वस्य जगतो हरिः कर्माण्यारभते कर्तुं कीनाश इव दुर्बलः

Harī, the great yogi, is the lord of everything in the universe. But he yet undertakes tasks, like any ordinary tiller of the soil.

हरि, महान योगी, ब्रह्मांड में हर चीज़ के स्वामी हैं। लेकिन फिर भी वह मिट्टी जोतने वाले किसी भी सामान्य किसान की तरह कार्य करता है।

तेन वञ्चयते लोकान्मायायोगेन केशवः ये तमेव प्रपद्यन्ते न ते मुह्यन्ति मानवाः

Thus, Keśava deceives the world with the māyā of his yoga. But men who seek refuge with him are not deluded."

इस प्रकार, केशव अपने योग की माया से दुनिया को धोखा देता है। परन्तु जो मनुष्य उसकी शरण लेते हैं, वे धोखा नहीं खाते।"
