Vaiśampāyana said: Pṛthā's two illustrious sons went to the potter's house and to Pṛthā. With happiness in their hearts, those chiefs among men presented Yājñasenī and said, "See what alms we have got."
वैशम्पायन ने कहा: पृथा के दो यशस्वी पुत्र कुम्हार के घर और पृथा के पास गये। मन में प्रसन्नता भरकर उन नरश्रेष्ठों ने यज्ञसेनी को प्रस्तुत किया और कहा, "देखो, हमें क्या भिक्षा मिली है।"
Later, Kuntī saw the lady and was miserable at what she had said. She was anxious not to commit adharma and began to think about what might be done.

O bull among the Kuru-s! Now tell me how those instructions of mine don't become a lie. How can the Pāñcāla king's daughter not be touched by adharma, committing that which hasn't been done before?"
हे कुरुवंशियों में से बैल! अब बताओ मेरी वो हिदायतें झूठ कैसे न बन जाएं. पंचाल राजा की बेटी को अधर्म कैसे नहीं छू सकता, जब उसने वह काम किया हो जो पहले नहीं किया गया हो?"
Having been thus addressed by his mother, the wise king Yudhiṣṭhira, chief among the Kuru-s, sat for a while and thought. He consoled Kuntī and spoke to Dhanañjayā.
अपनी माता द्वारा इस प्रकार कहे जाने पर कुरुवंशियों में प्रमुख बुद्धिमान राजा युधिष्ठिर कुछ देर तक बैठे रहे और विचार करते रहे। उन्होंने कुंती को सांत्वना दी और धनंजय से बात की।
"O Pāṇḍava! You are the one who won Yājñasenī. It is proper that you should make this princess happy. Let the sacred fire be lit and offerings made. You should marry her in accor-dance with the proper rites."
"हे पांडव! आप ही वह व्यक्ति हैं जिसने यज्ञसेनी को जीता है। यह उचित है कि आप इस राजकुमारी को खुश करें। पवित्र अग्नि जलाई जाए और प्रसाद चढ़ाया जाए। आपको उचित संस्कारों के अनुसार उससे विवाह करना चाहिए।"

मा मां नरेन्द्र त्वमधर्मभाजं; कृथा न धर्मो ह्ययमीप्सितोऽन्यैः
भवान्निवेश्यः प्रथमं ततोऽयं; भीमो महाबाहुरचिन्त्यकर्मा
Arjuna said: "O king of men! Since this is not the law that others accept, do not make me tread this path of adharma. You should marry her first, followed by the mighty-armed Bhīmā of wonderful deeds,
अर्जुन ने कहा: "हे मनुष्यों के राजा! चूँकि यह वह कानून नहीं है जिसे अन्य लोग स्वीकार करते हैं, इसलिए मुझे इस अधर्म के मार्ग पर चलने के लिए बाध्य न करें। आपको पहले उससे विवाह करना चाहिए, उसके बाद अद्भुत कर्मों वाले महाबाहु भीम से विवाह करना चाहिए।"

then I, then Nākula after me and finally the energetic Sahadeva. O king! Vṛkodara, I and the twins think that the lady should be yours. This is the state of affairs.
फिर मैं, फिर मेरे बाद नकुल और अंत में ऊर्जावान सहदेव। हे राजा! वृकोदरा, मैं और जुड़वाँ बच्चे सोचते हैं कि महिला आपकी होनी चाहिए। यही स्थिति है.
After reflecting on it, please do what is appropriate, in accordance with dharma and fame and the welfare of the king of Pāñcāla. Instruct us. We are all waiting for your command."

Vaiśampāyana said: Then they all looked at the illustrious Kṛṣṇā who was standing there.

Pāñcālī's charming form was created by the creator himself. It beguiled all living beings and was supreme to all others.
