ब्रह्मोवाच य उत्पन्नो महान्पूर्वमहंकारः स उच्यते अहमित्येव संभूतो द्वितीयः सर्ग उच्यते

Brahma said: The great one who was born before, the ego, is said to be. The second creation is said to be the one who has arisen as "I am".

ब्रह्माजी ने कहा- अहंकार जो पहले उत्पन्न हुआ था, वही महान् कहा गया है। दूसरी सृष्टि वह कही गयी है जो "मैं हूँ" के रूप में उत्पन्न हुई है।

अहंकारश्च भूतादिर्वैकारिक इति स्मृतः तेजसश्चेतना धातुः प्रजासर्गः प्रजापतिः

अध्यात्मज्ञाननित्यानां मुनीनां भावितात्मनाम् स्वाध्यायक्रतुसिद्धानामेष लोकः सनातनः

For those who are always devoted to the knowledge of the Self, for those sages whose souls are purified, for those who have attained success through the study of the Vedas, this world is eternal

उन लोगों के लिए जो सदैव आत्मज्ञान के प्रति समर्पित रहते हैं, उन ऋषियों के लिए जिनकी आत्माएँ शुद्ध हो चुकी हैं, उन लोगों के लिए जिन्होंने वेदों के अध्ययन के माध्यम से सफलता प्राप्त की है, यह संसार शाश्वत है

अहंकारेणाहरतो गुणानिमा;न्भूतादिरेवं सृजते स भूतकृत् वैकारिकः सर्वमिदं विचेष्टते; स्वतेजसा रञ्जयते जगत्तथा
