वैशंपायन उवाच वनवासाय चक्रुस्ते मतिं पार्थाः पराजिताः अजिनान्युत्तरीयाणि जगृहुश्च यथाक्रमम्

Vaiśampāyana said: Having been defeated, the sons of Pṛthā began to prepare for exile in the forest. One after another, they dressed themselves in deerskins and upper garments.

वैशम्पायन ने कहा: पराजित होकर पृथा के पुत्र वन में निर्वासन की तैयारी करने लगे। एक के बाद एक, उन्होंने अपने आप को मृग की खाल और ऊपरी वस्त्र पहने।

अजिनैः संवृतान्दृष्ट्वा हृतराज्यानरिंदमान् प्रस्थितान्वनवासाय ततो दुःशासनोऽब्रवीत्

Those destroyers of enemies had lost their kingdom and were attired in deerskin. On seeing them ready to leave for the forest, Duḥśāsana said,

शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले वे लोग अपना राज्य खो चुके थे और मृगचर्म धारण किये हुए थे। उन्हें जंगल में जाने के लिए तैयार देखकर दुःशासन ने कहा,

प्रवृत्तं धार्तराष्ट्रस्य चक्रं राज्ञो महात्मनः पराभूताः पाण्डुपुत्रा विपत्तिं परमां गताः

"The wheel has now begun to turn for the great-souled king, Dhṛtarāṣṭra's son. The Pāṇḍava-s have been vanquished and have attained supreme misery.

"अब धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्र, महान आत्मा वाले राजा के लिए पहिया घूमना शुरू हो गया है। पांडव परास्त हो गए हैं और सर्वोच्च दुःख प्राप्त कर चुके हैं।

अद्य देवाः संप्रयाताः समैर्वर्त्मभिरस्थलैः गुणज्येष्ठास्तथा ज्येष्ठा भूयांसो यद्वयं परैः

Today, the gods have come to us along their smooth celestial routes. We have become elders to our enemies in qualities, their elders and more numerous than they are.

आज, देवता अपने सहज दिव्य मार्ग से हमारे पास आये हैं। हम गुणों में अपने शत्रुओं से बड़े, उनसे बड़े और उनसे भी अधिक संख्या में बड़े हो गये हैं।

नरकं पातिताः पार्था दीर्घकालमनन्तकम् सुखाच्च हीना राज्याच्च विनष्टाः शाश्वतीः समाः

The Pāṇḍava-s have descended into hell for a long time, for eternity. They have fallen from happiness and have lost their kingdom, destroyed for an eternity.

पांडव लंबे समय के लिए, अनंत काल के लिए नरक में चले गए हैं। वे सुख से गिर गए हैं और अपना राज्य खो चुके हैं, अनंत काल के लिए नष्ट हो गए हैं।

बलेन मत्ता ये ते स्म धार्तराष्ट्रान्प्रहासिषुः ते निर्जिता हृतधना वनमेष्यन्ति पाण्डवाः

The Pāṇḍava-s were intoxicated with their strength and laughed at the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra. They have been defeated and have lost their riches.

पांडव अपनी ताकत के नशे में चूर थे और धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्रों पर हंस रहे थे। वे हार गए हैं और उन्होंने अपना धन खो दिया है।

चित्रान्संनाहानवमुञ्चन्तु चैषां; वासांसि दिव्यानि च भानुमन्ति निवास्यन्तां रुरुचर्माणि सर्वे; यथा ग्लहं सौबलस्याभ्युपेताः

They must go to the forest. They have to give up their multicoloured armour and their divine and radiant garments. All of them must now put on the skins of ruru deer. They have accepted the stake that Saubala offered.

उन्हें जंगल जाना होगा. उन्हें अपने बहुरंगी कवच ​​और दिव्य एवं दीप्तिमान वस्त्र त्यागने होंगे। अब उन सभी को रुरु मृग की खाल पहननी होगी। सौबाला ने जो हिस्सेदारी की पेशकश की थी, उसे उन्होंने स्वीकार कर लिया है।

न सन्ति लोकेषु पुमांस ईदृशा; इत्येव ये भावितबुद्धयः सदा ज्ञास्यन्ति तेऽऽत्मानमिमेऽद्य पाण्डवा; विपर्यये षण्ढतिला इवाफलाः

Their minds were always nourished by the thought that there were no men like them in the world. But today, the Pāṇḍava-s will know themselves in adversity, like sesame seeds that are barren.

उनके मन में सदैव यह विचार व्याप्त रहता था कि संसार में उनके जैसा कोई व्यक्ति नहीं है। लेकिन आज, पांडव स्वयं को प्रतिकूल परिस्थितियों में बांझ तिल के समान जानेंगे।

अयं हि वासोदय ईदृशानां; मनस्विनां कौरव मा भवेद्वः अदीक्षितानामजिनानि यद्व;द्बलीयसां पश्यत पाण्डवानाम्

O Kaurava! Your stay will not be like that of great-minded ones. The deerskins of the powerful Pāṇḍava-s have not been consecrated.

हे कौरव! आपका रहना महापुरुषों जैसा नहीं होगा। शक्तिशाली पांडवों की मृगचर्म को पवित्र नहीं किया गया है।

महाप्राज्ञः सोमको यज्ञसेनः; कन्यां पाञ्चालीं पाण्डवेभ्यः प्रदाय अकार्षीद्वै दुष्कृतं नेह सन्ति; क्लीबाः पार्थाः पतयो याज्ञसेन्याः

Yajñasena was the immensely intelligent descendant of Somaka. He gave his daughter Pāñcālī to the Pāṇḍava-s. That was not a deed well done, because the Pārtha-s, husbands of Yājñasenī, are impotent.

यज्ञसेन सोमका का अत्यंत बुद्धिमान वंशज था। उन्होंने अपनी पुत्री पांचाली पांडवों को दे दी। वह कोई अच्छा काम नहीं था, क्योंकि यज्ञसेनी के पति पार्थ नपुंसक हैं।

सूक्ष्मान्प्रावारानजिनानि चोदिता;न्दृष्ट्वारण्ये निर्धनानप्रतिष्ठान् कां त्वं प्रीतिं लप्स्यसे याज्ञसेनि; पतिं वृणीष्व यमिहान्यमिच्छसि

O Yājñasenī! What pleasure will you derive, since those dressed in fine garments are now reduced to deerskins in the forest, without riches and without homes? Choose a husband who will bring you pleasure.

हे यज्ञसेनी! तुम्हें क्या खुशी मिलेगी, क्योंकि अच्छे कपड़े पहनने वाले लोग अब जंगल में हिरण की खाल में बदल गए हैं, उनके पास धन नहीं है और उनके पास घर नहीं हैं? ऐसा पति चुनें जो आपको खुशी दे।

एते हि सर्वे कुरवः समेताः; क्षान्ता दान्ताः सुद्रविणोपपन्नाः एषां वृणीष्वैकतमं पतित्वे; न त्वां तपेत्कालविपर्ययोऽयम्

All the Kuru-s who are assembled here are forbearing and self-controlled and have no dearth of riches. Choose one of them as your husband, so that you do not suffer from this change in fortune.

यहां एकत्र हुए सभी कुरु धैर्यवान और संयमी हैं और उनके पास धन की कोई कमी नहीं है। उनमें से किसी एक को अपने पति के रूप में चुनें, ताकि भाग्य में इस परिवर्तन से आपको कष्ट न हो।

यथाफलाः षण्ढतिला यथा चर्ममया मृगाः तथैव पाण्डवाः सर्वे यथा काकयवा अपि

All the Pāṇḍava-s are now like sesame seeds without kernels, or deer that only have skin on them. They are like barren corn.

सभी पांडव अब बिना गुठली वाले तिल के समान हैं, या उन हिरणों के समान हैं जिन पर केवल त्वचा होती है। वे बंजर मकई की तरह हैं.

किं पाण्डवांस्त्वं पतितानुपास्से; मोघः श्रमः षण्ढतिलानुपास्य एवं नृशंसः परुषाणि पार्था;नश्रावयद्धृतराष्ट्रस्य पुत्रः

Why do you show homage to the Pāṇḍava-s who have fallen? Serving sterile sesame seeds is a waste of labour." Dhṛtarāṣṭra's son uttered these cruel and harsh words in the hearing of the Pārtha-s.

आप गिरे हुए पांडवों को श्रद्धांजलि क्यों देते हैं? बाँझ तिल परोसना श्रम की बर्बादी है।" धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्र ने पार्थ-एस की सुनवाई में ये क्रूर और कठोर शब्द कहे।

तद्वै श्रुत्वा भीमसेनोऽत्यमर्षी; निर्भर्त्स्योच्चैस्तं निगृह्यैव रोषात् उवाचेदं सहसैवोपगम्य; सिंहो यथा हैमवतः शृगालम्

Having heard these words, the impetuous Bhīmasena suppressed his anger. Like a Himalayan lion dashing at a jackal, he suddenly approached him and loudly rebuked him.

ये बातें सुनकर उद्दंड भीमसेन ने अपना क्रोध दबा लिया। हिमालय के शेर की तरह वह अचानक सियार पर झपटा, उसके पास आया और ज़ोर से उसे डाँटा।

भीमसेन उवाच क्रूर पापजनैर्जुष्टमकृतार्थं प्रभाषसे गान्धारविद्यया हि त्वं राजमध्ये विकत्थसे

Bhīmasena said: "O cruel and evil one! You utter words that lead to failure. You are boasting among these kings because of the skills of Gāndhāra.

भीमसेन ने कहा: "हे क्रूर और दुष्ट! तुम ऐसे शब्द बोलते हो जो असफलता की ओर ले जाते हैं। तुम गांधार की कुशलता के कारण इन राजाओं के बीच घमंड कर रहे हो।"

यथा तुदसि मर्माणि वाक्शरैरिह नो भृशम् तथा स्मारयिता तेऽहं कृन्तन्मर्माणि संयुगे

Just as your words pierce our hearts like arrows, I will make you remember all this when I pierce your heart in battle.

जिस प्रकार आपके शब्द तीर की तरह हमारे हृदय को छेदते हैं, उसी प्रकार मैं युद्ध में आपके हृदय को छेदकर आपको यह सब याद दिलाऊंगा।

ये च त्वामनुवर्तन्ते कामलोभवशानुगाः गोप्तारः सानुबन्धांस्तान्नेष्यामि यमसादनम्

I will send to Yāma's abode all those who are your followers and protectors because of desire and avarice, together with all their relatives."

मैं उन सभी को, जो इच्छा और लोभ के कारण आपके अनुयायी और संरक्षक हैं, उनके सभी रिश्तेदारों सहित यम के निवास में भेज दूंगा।

वैशंपायन उवाच एवं ब्रुवाणमजिनैर्विवासितं; दुःखाभिभूतं परिनृत्यति स्म मध्ये कुरूणां धर्मनिबद्धमार्गं; गौर्गौरिति स्माह्वयन्मुक्तलज्जः

Vaiśampāyana said: Clad in his deerskin, Bhīmā uttered these angry words. But though immersed in grief, he stuck to the path of dharma. The other one had no shame. He danced around in the middle of the Kuru-s and challenged him, calling him a cow.

वैशम्पायन ने कहा: मृगछाला पहने भीम ने ये क्रोधपूर्ण शब्द कहे। लेकिन दुःख में डूबे रहने के बावजूद भी वह धर्म के मार्ग पर टिके रहे। दूसरे को कोई शर्म नहीं थी. उन्होंने कौरवों के बीच में नृत्य किया और उन्हें गाय कहकर चुनौती दी।

भीमसेन उवाच नृशंसं परुषं क्रूरं शक्यं दुःशासन त्वया निकृत्या हि धनं लब्ध्वा को विकत्थितुमर्हति

Bhīmasena said: "O Duḥśāsana! Cruel, harsh and rough words are possible for you. Who else will boast of riches obtained through deceit?

भीमसेन ने कहा: "हे दु:शासन! तुम्हारे लिए क्रूर, कठोर और कठोर शब्द संभव हैं। छल से प्राप्त धन पर और कौन घमंड करेगा?"

मा ह स्म सुकृताँल्लोकान्गच्छेत्पार्थो वृकोदरः यदि वक्षसि भित्त्वा ते न पिबेच्छोणितं रणे

If he does not rip apart your breast and drink your blood in battle, Pārtha Vṛkodara will not go to the worlds attained by those with good deeds.

यदि वह युद्ध में तुम्हारी छाती फाड़कर तुम्हारा रक्त नहीं पीएगा, तो पार्थ वृकोदर अच्छे कर्मों वाले लोगों द्वारा प्राप्त लोकों में नहीं जाएगा।

धार्तराष्ट्रान्रणे हत्वा मिषतां सर्वधन्विनाम् शमं गन्तास्मि नचिरात्सत्यमेतद्ब्रवीमि वः

In front of all the archers, I will kill the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra in battle. I tell you truthfully that it is only after this that I will go to the abode of peace."

मैं युद्ध में सभी धनुर्धारियों के सामने धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्रों को मार डालूँगा। मैं तुमसे सच कहता हूं कि इसके बाद ही मैं शांतिधाम जाऊंगा।"

वैशंपायन उवाच तस्य राजा सिंहगतेः सखेलं; दुर्योधनो भीमसेनस्य हर्षात् गतिं स्वगत्यानुचकार मन्दो; निर्गच्छतां पाण्डवानां सभायाः

Vaiśampāyana said: When the Pāṇḍava-s were leaving the sabhā, the evil king Duryodhana, in play and delight, sought to mimic through his own steps Bhīmasena's leonine gait. At that, Vṛkodara half-turned his body towards him

वैशम्पायन ने कहा: जब पांडव सभा छोड़ रहे थे, तो दुष्ट राजा दुर्योधन ने खेल और खुशी में, अपने कदमों के माध्यम से भीमसेन की लियोनी चाल की नकल करने की कोशिश की। इस पर वृकोदर ने अपना शरीर उनकी ओर आधा मोड़ लिया

नैतावता कृतमित्यब्रवीत्तं; वृकोदरः संनिवृत्तार्धकायः शीघ्रं हि त्वा निहतं सानुबन्धं; संस्मार्याहं प्रतिवक्ष्यामि मूढ

and said, "O stupid one! This will not make you successful. I will soon kill you, with your relatives, and give you my response by reminding you of this."

और कहा, "अरे मूर्ख! इससे तुम सफल नहीं हो पाओगे। मैं जल्द ही तुम्हारे रिश्तेदारों सहित तुम्हें मार डालूंगा और तुम्हें इसकी याद दिलाकर अपना जवाब दूंगा।"

एतत्समीक्ष्यात्मनि चावमानं; नियम्य मन्युं बलवान्स मानी राजानुगः संसदि कौरवाणां; विनिष्क्रमन्वाक्यमुवाच भीमः

The powerful and proud Bhīmā witnessed this insult to himself, but controlled his anger. Following the king in the assembly of Kuru-s, he spoke these words and went out,

शक्तिशाली और घमंडी भीम ने अपना अपमान देखा, लेकिन अपने क्रोध पर नियंत्रण रखा। वह कुरु-सभा में राजा के पीछे-पीछे ये वचन कहकर बाहर चला गया।

अहं दुर्योधनं हन्ता कर्णं हन्ता धनंजयः शकुनिं चाक्षकितवं सहदेवो हनिष्यति

"I will be the slayer of Duryodhana. Dhanañjayā will be the slayer of Karṇa. Sahadeva will kill Śākuni, the deceitful one with the dice.

"मैं दुर्योधन का हत्यारा बनूंगा। धनंजय कर्ण का हत्यारा होगा। सहदेव धोखेबाज शकुनि को पासे से मार डालेगा।"

इदं च भूयो वक्ष्यामि सभामध्ये बृहद्वचः सत्यं देवाः करिष्यन्ति यन्नो युद्धं भविष्यति

In the midst of this sabhā, I will once again utter the words of grave and solemn import. The gods will surely make this true when there is a war between us.

इस सभा के बीच में, मैं एक बार फिर गंभीर और गंभीर शब्दों का उच्चारण करूंगा। जब हमारे बीच युद्ध होगा तो देवता इसे अवश्य सच कर देंगे।

सुयोधनमिमं पापं हन्तास्मि गदया युधि शिरः पादेन चास्याहमधिष्ठास्यामि भूतले

I will kill Suyodhana with a club in battle. I will preṣ-s down his head on the ground with my foot.

मैं युद्ध में सुयोधन को गदा से मार डालूँगा। मैं अपने पैर से उसका सिर ज़मीन पर दबा दूँगा।

वाक्यशूरस्य चैवास्य परुषस्य दुरात्मनः दुःशासनस्य रुधिरं पातास्मि मृगराडिव

As for this evil-hearted and cruel Duḥśāsana, whose valour is in his words, I will drink his blood like the king of deer."

जहाँ तक इस दुष्ट-हृदय और क्रूर दु:शासन की बात है, जिसकी वीरता उसके शब्दों में है, मैं हिरण के राजा की तरह उसका खून पीऊँगा।"

अर्जुन उवाच नैव वाचा व्यवसितं भीम विज्ञायते सताम् इतश्चतुर्दशे वर्षे द्रष्टारो यद्भविष्यति

Arjuna said: "The truthful Bhīmā's resolutions are not known only in words. In the fourteenth year, what is going to occur will be witnessed.

अर्जुन ने कहा: "सच्चे भीम के संकल्प केवल शब्दों में ज्ञात नहीं हैं। चौदहवें वर्ष में, जो होने वाला है वह देखा जाएगा।"

दुर्योधनस्य कर्णस्य शकुनेश्च दुरात्मनः दुःशासनचतुर्थानां भूमिः पास्यति शोणितम्

The earth will drink the blood of Duryodhana, Karṇa, the evil-hearted Śākuni and Duḥśāsana, as the fourth.

चौथे के रूप में पृथ्वी दुर्योधन, कर्ण, दुष्ट हृदय वाले शकुनि और दुःशासन का खून पिएगी।

असूयितारं वक्तारं प्रस्रष्टारं दुरात्मनाम् भीमसेन नियोगात्ते हन्ताहं कर्णमाहवे

O Bhīmasena! On your instructions, I will kill in battle this jealous Karṇa, who uses his eloquence to praise the wicked.

हे भीमसेन! आपके आदेश पर मैं युद्ध में इस ईर्ष्यालु कर्ण को मार डालूँगा, जो अपनी वाक्पटुता से दुष्टों की प्रशंसा करता है।

अर्जुनः प्रतिजानीते भीमस्य प्रियकाम्यया कर्णं कर्णानुगांश्चैव रणे हन्तास्मि पत्रिभिः

For giving pleasure to Bhīmā, this is what Arjuna swears. In battle, I will kill Karṇa and Karṇa's followers with my arrows.

भीम को प्रसन्न करने के लिए अर्जुन ने यही शपथ खाई है। युद्ध में मैं कर्ण और कर्ण के अनुचरों को अपने बाणों से मार डालूँगा।

ये चान्ये प्रतियोत्स्यन्ति बुद्धिमोहेन मां नृपाः तांश्च सर्वाञ्शितैर्बाणैर्नेतास्मि यमसादनम्

With my sharp arrows, I will send to Yāma's abode all those other kings who will fight with me out of their folly.

मैं अपने तीखे बाणों से उन सभी राजाओं को यमलोक भेज दूंगा जो अपनी मूर्खता के कारण मुझसे युद्ध करेंगे।

चलेद्धि हिमवान्स्थानान्निष्प्रभः स्याद्दिवाकरः शैत्यं सोमात्प्रणश्येत मत्सत्यं विचलेद्यदि

Let the Himālaya-s move from where they are established, let the sun be dimmed, let coolness be destroyed from the moon, if I deviate from this vow.

यदि मैं इस व्रत से विचलित हो जाऊं तो हिमालय को जहां स्थापित किया गया है वहां से हट जाने दो, सूर्य को मंद होने दो, चंद्रमा से शीतलता नष्ट हो जाने दो।

न प्रदास्यति चेद्राज्यमितो वर्षे चतुर्दशे दुर्योधनो हि सत्कृत्य सत्यमेतद्भविष्यति

In the fourteenth year, if Duryodhana does not restore the kingdom to us with proper honour, all this will certainly happen."

चौदहवें वर्ष में यदि दुर्योधन हमें उचित सम्मान के साथ राज्य वापस नहीं लौटाएगा तो यह सब अवश्य होगा।”

वैशंपायन उवाच इत्युक्तवति पार्थे तु श्रीमान्माद्रवतीसुतः प्रगृह्य विपुलं बाहुं सहदेवः प्रतापवान्

Vaiśampāyana said: When Pārtha said this, Sahadeva, Mādrī's handsome and powerful son, grasped his own large arms.

वैशम्पायन ने कहा: जब पार्थ ने यह कहा, तो माद्री के सुंदर और शक्तिशाली पुत्र सहदेव ने अपनी बड़ी भुजाएँ पकड़ लीं।

सौबलस्य वधं प्रेप्सुरिदं वचनमब्रवीत् क्रोधसंरक्तनयनो निःश्वसन्निव पन्नगः

His eyes were red with anger and he sighed like a serpent. Desiring to kill Saubala, he uttered these words.

उसकी आँखें क्रोध से लाल हो गयीं और उसने साँप की भाँति आह भरी। उसने सौबाला को मार डालने की इच्छा से ये शब्द कहे।

अक्षान्यान्मन्यसे मूढ गान्धाराणां यशोहर नैतेऽक्षा निशिता बाणास्त्वयैते समरे वृताः

"O foolish one! O destroyer of the fame of Gāndhāra! What you thought were dice are not dice, but sharp arrows that you have invited in battle.

"हे मूर्ख! हे गांधार की कीर्ति को नष्ट करने वाले! जिसे तू पासा समझता था, वह पासा नहीं है, बल्कि तीखे तीर हैं जिन्हें तूने युद्ध में आमंत्रित किया है।

यथा चैवोक्तवान्भीमस्त्वामुद्दिश्य सबान्धवम् कर्ताहं कर्मणस्तस्य कुरु कार्याणि सर्वशः

For you and your relatives, I will certainly accomplish what Bhīmā has said. I will do what I have to do and you can do everything that you wish to do.

तुम्हारे और तुम्हारे सम्बन्धियों के लिये भीम ने जो कहा है, उसे मैं अवश्य पूरा करूँगा। मुझे जो करना है वह मैं करूँगा और तुम वह सब कुछ कर सकते हो जो तुम करना चाहते हो।

हन्तास्मि तरसा युद्धे त्वां विक्रम्य सबान्धवम् यदि स्थास्यसि संग्रामे क्षत्रधर्मेण सौबल

O Saubala! I will overpower you and swiftly kill you in battle with your relatives, if you stay and fight in accordance with the dharma of the kṣatriya-s."

हे सौबाला! यदि तुम क्षत्रिय धर्म के अनुसार रहकर युद्ध करोगे तो मैं तुम्हें पराजित कर दूंगा और तुम्हारे रिश्तेदारों के साथ युद्ध में शीघ्रता से तुम्हें मार डालूंगा।"

सहदेववचः श्रुत्वा नकुलोऽपि विशां पते दर्शनीयतमो नॄणामिदं वचनमब्रवीत्

O lord of the world! On hearing Sahadeva's words, Nākula, the most handsome among men, uttered his words,

हे विश्व के स्वामी! सहदेव के वचन सुनकर मनुष्यों में परम सुन्दर नकुल ने अपने शब्द कहे,

सुतेयं यज्ञसेनस्य द्यूतेऽस्मिन्धृतराष्ट्रजैः यैर्वाचः श्राविता रूक्षाः स्थितैर्दुर्योधनप्रिये

"At this gambling match, Dhṛtarāṣṭra's sons have used harsh and insulting words towards Yājñasenī, so as to bring pleasure to Duryodhana.

"इस जुआ मैच में, धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्रों ने दुर्योधन को प्रसन्न करने के लिए यज्ञसेनी के प्रति कठोर और अपमानजनक शब्दों का प्रयोग किया है।

तान्धार्तराष्ट्रान्दुर्वृत्तान्मुमूर्षून्कालचोदितान् दर्शयिष्यामि भूयिष्ठमहं वैवस्वतक्षयम्

These sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra are evil and summoned by destiny, are soon to die. In their great numbers, I will show them the abode of Vaivasvata.

धृतराष्ट्र के ये पुत्र दुष्ट हैं और नियति द्वारा बुलाए गए हैं, शीघ्र ही मरने वाले हैं। उनकी बड़ी संख्या में मैं उन्हें वैवस्वत का धाम दिखाऊंगा।

निदेशाद्धर्मराजस्य द्रौपद्याः पदवीं चरन् निर्धार्तराष्ट्रां पृथिवीं कर्तास्मि नचिरादिव

On Dharmarāja's instructions and following Draupadī's footsteps, I will soon relieve the earth of the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra."

धर्मराज के निर्देश पर और द्रौपदी के नक्शेकदम पर चलते हुए, मैं जल्द ही पृथ्वी को धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्रों से मुक्त कर दूंगा।"

एवं ते पुरुषव्याघ्राः सर्वे व्यायतबाहवः प्रतिज्ञा बहुलाः कृत्वा धृतराष्ट्रमुपागमन्

Having extended their arms to take these many oaths, all these tigers among men went to Dhṛtarāṣṭra.

इतनी सारी शपथ लेने के लिए अपनी भुजाएँ फैलाकर, ये सभी नर बाघ धृतराष्ट्र के पास गए।
