Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Adhyatmas, we strive to provide meaningful spiritual guidance through technology. We understand that your needs may change, and we want to make cancellation and refunds as transparent and fair as possible.
01How to Cancel Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time using any of the following methods:
Method 1 — Email Request
Send a cancellation request to:
info.adhyatmas@gmail.comInclude the following in your email:
- Your registered email address
- Full name on the account
- Subject line: "Subscription Cancellation Request"
- Reason for cancellation (optional, but helps us improve)
We will process your cancellation within 24–48 hours and send a confirmation email.
Method 2 — From Your Account
Cancel directly from your dashboard:
- 1Log in to your Adhyatmas account
- 2Navigate to Dashboard → Profile Settings
- 3Under "Subscription", click "Cancel Subscription"
- 4Confirm your cancellation in the dialog
Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
02What Happens After Cancellation
- Your Devotee features continue until the end of your current billing cycle
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan
- You retain access to your account, conversation history, and saved quotes
- Your daily AI question limit changes from 50 to 5
- You will not be charged again unless you re-subscribe

04Refund Process & Timeline
- How to request a refund: Email info.adhyatmas@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your registered email, Razorpay payment ID (if available), and reason for the refund.
- Processing time: Refund requests are reviewed within 3–5 business days.
- Refund method: Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method via Razorpay.
- Bank processing: After approval, the refund may take an additional 5–10 business days to reflect in your bank account, depending on your bank.
05Pro-Rata Refund Calculation (Yearly Plan)
For Yearly subscribers cancelling after 7 days, the pro-rata refund is calculated as:
A partial month is counted as a full month. Example: If you cancel after 3 months and 5 days, you are charged for 4 months (₹204), and the refund would be ₹408.
06Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms & Conditions
- Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle (after the 7-day window)
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated responses (the Free plan allows you to evaluate the service before subscribing)
- Change of mind after 7 days of a monthly subscription
07Free Plan
The Free plan requires no payment and therefore does not involve any refund or cancellation process. You may delete your Free account at any time by emailing us.
